Want to have one single email invitation email but want to have different stand of text depending if in-person or virtual using expressions e.g. [ifexpr=inpersoninterview][then]Location: datapathtolocation[/then][else]Interview link: htt….[/else][/ifexpr] then the expression check you can use is EXISTS(application.most_recent_interview.candidate_meeting_link) == 1 If you have integration with e.g. MS Teams or you are manually entering the virtual meeting links, then this can be used. If you don’t enter any links or have an intergration, then this won’t work but you could modify the expression to check for a specific master location value instead.
Thanks to my HR Systems Team for this next trick. If you only have one vacancy template that you use and you want it to be the auto-picked template without needing to go through a configuration option and further activity profile work, you can achieve this as follows.Create the vacancy template and ensure at least 1 data item is set (we manually added an opportunity called ‘Select a College/Service...’ that has order ‘1’ for a department local lookup list opportunity item so it appears right at the top of the list. After the form has been saved, we added a bogus ‘DEFAULT USER’ account that isn’t by anyone as a Participant. That’s it :)
In Parliament, we want an email that would be sent to recruiters and a selection panel when an application had been withdrawn e.g. from shortlisting, interviews, offer stage or even during onboarding.I was initially told it’s not something that is recorded in the system. I decided to have a look around and discovered ‘Recruiter Flags’ on the Candidate Flags form that each application has.I created a new ‘Withdrawal Stage’ app item set as per below. In essence, It checks what the current status is and sets the flag appropriately that I had setup to match as a list of values in a lookup list. Hopefully the human translation part I copied will make more sense. In application withdrawn email, we called the flag into the email to confirm what stage the candidate was at before withdrawing. This helped us to understand if we need to take any further action. It’s laid out to set nested ifs - either this or that and carries on with a boolean style decision tree. For the state.ids, you can obtain t
In the past, we had set an email address against a lookup item, I would enter the email address as a scoring value for those data items (e.g. a particular department name might have a specific inbox for candidate queries that can be used to automatically populate an advert for a quick ‘contact us’ for example). For example, opportunity item with an ID of 58881 that is ‘Department’ could have a scoring value of oleeojobs@hello.com and then on an advert, you could enter [path]opportunity.formdata.58881:1:1.scoring_value[/path] (so the end is scoring_value rather than just value).Instead, Oleeo support suggested we use the translation option instead (all credit to Julia for this!):On details page of a lookup list, tick any ‘Enable translation to’ option Then Export lookup values and open the downloaded spreadsheet The document will contain two tabs, values and translations Under the empty column, add the email address(es) as required Save the spreadsheet and ‘Import lookup values’ The colu
