WHAT IS THE TIP?
💡 When working on the Oleeo ATS, it’s often the case that you need to complete simultaneous tasks or that an urgent task requires you to momentarily move away from what you’re currently working on. In these instances, knowing some nifty tips and tricks around browser tab management can come in super handy. This tip will guide you on how to duplicate tabs, reopen closed tabs, and manage multiple environments without interruptions.
Duplicate Tabs for Quick Navigation
💡 Duplicating a tab allows you to view multiple sections of Oleeo simultaneously without losing your place. This can be particularly useful when you need to cross-reference candidate information or quickly move between different parts of the system.
Steps:
- Right-click on the browser tab you wish to duplicate.
- Select "Duplicate" from the context menu.
- A new tab with the same content will open, allowing you to continue from where you left off.
Reopen Closed Tabs to Retrieve Lost Information
💡 Accidentally closed a tab? No problem! You can easily reopen closed tabs and pick up right where you left off.
Steps:
- Right-click on the tab bar (empty space next to your open tabs).
- Select "Reopen closed tab" or press Ctrl + Shift + T (Windows) / Command + Shift + T (Mac).
Work Smarter with Multiple Tabs
💡 Managing your tasks across multiple tabs allows you to handle different parts of your recruitment process simultaneously, such as reviewing candidates, updating opportunities, or generating reports.
🔧 Use cases:
- Open one tab for candidate profiles and another for opportunity details to easily transfer information between them. Even better, have tabs open on a different screen for enhanced ease of use and seamless multitasking.
- While running a report in one tab, continue other tasks like reviewing applications in another.
Avoid Session Conflicts with Incognito Mode
💡 Oleeo offers both live and configuration environments. Opening both in the same browser can cause session conflicts, logging you out of one environment when you access the other. To prevent this, we suggest using incognito mode.
Steps:
- Open your live environment in a regular browser window.
- Open a new Incognito Window (Ctrl + Shift + N on Windows, Command + Shift + N on Mac) and log into your configuration environment.
Keep Important Tabs Accessible with Pinning
💡 Pinning tabs allows you to keep essential Oleeo tabs—like your dashboard or candidate list—open and easily accessible without taking up too much space in your browser.
Steps:
- Right-click on the tab you want to pin.
- Select "Pin tab."
- The tab will shrink and move to the left side of your browser, keeping it always accessible.
Resolve Issues by Clearing Cache
💡 If you experience performance issues or unexpected behaviour in Oleeo, clearing your browser’s cache can often resolve these problems by removing outdated or corrupted data.
Steps:
- Open your browser settings.
- Navigate to "Privacy and Security" and select "Clear browsing data."
- Choose "Cached images and files" and clear the data.
