v3.423 Release Notes 24th June 2026

NEW Two way communications emails visible in candidate portal 💡We’ve launched the ability for candidates to see emails that have been sent via the two way communications widget. These emails will appear in the communications section of the candidate portal, alongside their other emails from the system. 18 month job alerts 💡We’ve given candidates a new option when setting up their job alerts. This will allow them to set their job alert to run for 18 months before expiring. This gives candidates more opportunity to find a job that matches their criteria and is especially useful if campaigns can run for more than a year. Interview specific datapathsYou can now reference information from a specific interview, not just the most recent. For example, you can add the title, date and location of both first and second round interview to a table layout. In general, you can replace the application.most_recent_interview section of your datapath with application.itineraries.ord:N where N is the order of the interview you want to reference. For example, you can use application.itineraries.ord:2.interview_date to reference the interview date of the second interview.More examples of interview-related datapaths can be found in the Interviews configuration guide and Datapaths Reference Guide. Ability to exclude opportunity items from being copied with the opportunity 💡For application items, we have the ability to configure an item so that, if the application is copied, the contents of the item aren’t copied with it. This is useful from a data security and automation point of view. In this release, we’ve provided equivalent functionality for opportunity items, so that these items will also be blank if the opportunity is copied. Ability to bulk import referrals 💡We’ve added the ability to bulk import referral data. This makes it easier to efficiently bring in large amounts of referral data into Oleeo Recruit. This can be accessed through a revamped Referrals section of My Tasks in the left hand menu. This works similarly to importing applications. You will need to have a table layout configured to accept the required fields. Remove Google Maps Plus Code from candidate-side search 💡When candidates use our Google Maps integration as part of their application form, they will sometimes see a default value displaying a Plus Code, a code like “89QHJWVP+W5” which Google use to identify a specific location. Since this code can be confusing to users out of context, we’ve changed the default option to be blank. Users can then input their location. Improve Opportunity Description form configuration UIWe’ve removed some unnecessary options from the user interface for configuring Opportunity Description forms:Removed "Manual Label" from the process rule configuration Removed the “Process Only” checkbox from the Form Properties/Settings menu.Neither of these had any impact on Opportunity Description forms, so this makes a clearer and less confusing experience. Accessibility improvementsIn this release, we’ve made several enhancements to ensure that our platform is accessible for those using assistive technologies.Reclassifying the application process buttons for screen reader users so that it’s clear how to interact with them. Reclassifying the Edit Search and Clear Search buttons for screen reader users so that it’s clear how to interact with them. Correcting how the close button of the search modal is read out. When adding a local file to an email, changing the focus so it’s clear that a new file can be added. Adding logical linking between a field and the button to add translation, so that it’s clearer to screen reader users to which item they are adding a translation.   FIXES  Bulk Other Status timestamps 💡We’ve fixed an issue with status change timestamps. When an opportunity’s status has been changed using the “Other Status” method in bulk, the datapath was not showing the timestamp. With this release, we’ve ensured that the timestamp can be retrieved for those opportunities. Ensure opportunity templates are required when configuredWe’ve also fixed an issue where the opportunity.create.allow_no_template configuration value wasn’t being respected in all cases. Now, if a system is configured such that an opportunity can only be created from template, this will be the case through all user journeys.  These changes were released on 24th June 2026 in version 3.423💡 The lightbulb icon indicates the feature was based on customer feedback ⚙️ The gear icon indicates a configurable change. All new features and fixes will automatically appear in your system, unless they are marked as a configurable change. When you deprecate an email template, it will automatically delete all action categories. Accessibility improvementsWe’ve improved the contrast for some of the text in the Oleeo Engage CRM to ensure that it complies with the WCAG standards. We’ve also made changes to some of our dropdowns to ensure that they have valid ARIA labels which means they can be read by screen readers. FIXES Uploading macro-enabled files to the file libraryWe’ve fixed a defect that prevented files with macros (such as macro-enabled Excel files) from being uploaded to the file library.Fixing miscount of words when using max word count validation 💡We’ve also fixed an issue that occurred when form fields have validation to limit the number of words that can be submitted. In some cases, breaks between paragraphs were not counted as breaks between words allowing users to submit text with more than the maximum number of words. This has been addressed so the max word count is fully respected. These changes were released on 28th May 2025 in version 3.421💡 The lightbulb icon indicates the feature was based on customer feedback ⚙️ The gear icon indicates a configurable change. All new features and fixes will automatically appear in your system, unless they are marked as a configurable change.    NEW Ability to choose relevant profile when following a deep link 💡We’ve made improvements to the way that you’re linked into Oleeo Recruit from emails and other deep links. With this update, if you’re linked to content that your current user profile doesn’t have access to, you’ll be presented with a drop down of your other profiles to make the appropriate switch. If you don’t have a profile that can view the content, you’ll be shown a message making that clear. There’ll be no changes if you’re already using a profile that can access the content as you’ll be taken straight through. New datapath to choose tier of referees 💡We’ve also enhanced our referrals functionality. For customers that take advantage of the ability to have tiers of referees, you’ll now be able to use a datapath to find the highest tier referees. This unlocks the ability to create reports and dashboards more easily. The new addition uses tier in the datapath. An example for item 12345 would be application.user.referrals.tier:1.formdata.12345:1:1.value. Tier 1 would be the highest tier. If there are multiple referrers of the same tier, the datapath would show the referrer that submitted first.  These changes were released on 30th October 2025 in version 3.407💡 The lightbulb icon indicates the features was based on customer feedback ⚙️The gear icon indicates a configurable change. All new features and fixes will automatically appear in your system, unless they are marked as a configurable change. We’ve made a change to the Homepage Config page so that you can see which Profiles are assigned to which default homepage. This makes it easy to see at a glance which role is assigned to which homepage. It’s also easier to identify if any Profiles don’t have a homepage assigned. Ability to edit date format for reportsWe offer many different ways to format dates when creating reports. Previously, if you wanted to change the format of an axis, you would have to remove the axis and add it back. With this release, we’ll add the ability to change the date grouping through the Edit Axis option in the Edit menu. Accessibility improvementsWe’ve made several changes to improve accessibility in this release. The first changes will be on the candidate-side interview itinerary. This will help screen reader users to navigate. Finally, we’ve improved the contrast of some of the text in the Events module to ensure it’s easily readable. FIXES Duplicate checks to process archived data correctlySome users have had difficulty in dealing with duplicates because the original application has been archived.    NEW Update to Role ProfilesWe’ve changed the description field to be optional for Role Profiles. Many customers don’t have additional information to add and so repeat the Role Profile name in this field, which makes it redundant. With this release, you won’t need to add a description if it’s not needed. When the user chooses a Role Profile with no description, they will only see the name. So, if there’s no need for descriptions, it makes a cleaner interface. Accessibility improvementsIn this release, we have another set of accessibility changes to ensure all users can interact with our platform. We’ve made changes to the buttons that appear at the top of Forms so that you can use the keyboard to navigate to any of these buttons. We’ve also made changes to the Interview Schedule screen so that when the Copy Day and Move Day buttons are focussed, the focus indicator is in line with our standard format for contrast. For users who have enabled buttons for adding search criteria and changing layouts, we’ve made a change to the labels used here. The label now says “Select Layout”, which provides a clearer link between the button and its purpose for screen reader users. On Table Layouts, when selecting the filtering options (Clear Filters and Show Column Filters), the focus now stays on this button. This prevents disorienting users who may be navigating via keyboard or using screen readers.FIXES Fixed missing error message when adding a new candidate 💡We’ll also fix a defect where users weren’t receiving an appropriate error message when they were entering invalid details to create a new candidate. Users will now see the error message so they understand what they need to amend. These changes were released on 6th August 2025 in version 3.401💡 The lightbulb icon indicates the features was based on customer feedback ⚙️The gear icon indicates a configurable change. All new features and fixes will automatically appear in your system, unless they are marked as a configurable change.
