There is no limit to the number of Talent Banks you can create. To help you organise your applications, you may find it beneficial to create a Talent Bank for each region or role type. You could then copy ‘Silver Medallist’ applications into the appropriate Talent Bank.

Alternatively, you may choose to create a single Talent Bank that you publish to your Application Centre, and then you can search the Talent Bank for candidates with particular preferences.

CREATING A TALENT BANK

  1. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Talent Banks > Create.
  2. You'll land on the ‘Create New Talent Bank’ page. Provide details, including the Opportunity Title and a brief Description for the Talent Bank.
  3. Once the information is entered, click the Create Talent Bank button located at the bottom of the page.
  4. You will be redirected to the view page for your newly created Talent Bank.

ACTIVATING YOUR TALENT BANK

You will not be able to add applications to your Talent Bank or post them until it has been activated:

    • Click the 'Continue to Additional Information' button at the bottom-right of the form to proceed.

    • A summary page will appear for the posting. Click the 'Post' button at the bottom-right corner of the form to post your Talent Bank to the Application Centre.

Talent Banks do not expire:

  • Talent Banks are an open-ended solution, meaning that they do not have a closing or expiry date.
  • If you ever want to deactivate a Talent Bank, simply return to the Details tab of your Talent Bank view page, click the Edit button, and uncheck the Activate check-box.

AUTO POPULATING FROM APPLICATION PROCESS

In systems where this feature is configured, it empowers you to automatically copy applications meeting predefined criteria into your Talent Bank at a designated stage in the process flow.

A common application of this feature is to automatically copy applications from 'silver medalists' who were unsuccessful at the interview stage.

  1. Check System Compatibility:
    • This field exists in all systems but will only take effect if a rule within your application process flow has been added to copy applications to Talent Banks. If uncertain, consult a Supported User who can initiate a Change Request if necessary.
  2. Add Auto Population to your Talent Bank
    • The 'Auto Populate From Application Process' check box field appears on all Talent Bank creation forms.
    • If you are editing an existing Talent Bank it will be in the 'Details' tab.
    • If you choose 'Auto Populate From Application Process,' you can then select a Configuration Saved Search to filter which applications are copied into this Talent Bank. If the available searches don't match your criteria, seek guidance from a Supported/Super User.
  3. Applications can be copied to multiple Talent Banks
    • Applications will be copied to all the Talent Banks where they meet the saved search criteria.

EDITING AN EXITING TALENT BANK

  1. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Talent Banks > Search Talent Banks.
  2. Double-click on the Talent Bank you would like to edit.
  3. Once the Talent Bank opens, select the tab you wish to edit, then click the Edit button at the top-left corner of the tab.

Save the Talent Bank search for quick access:
To streamline future searches and bypass the need to repeatedly open the Talent Bank and load active applications, you can save your search for easy access. Follow these steps:

  2. Click 'Edit Search' in the list of applications.
  3. In the dialog box that appears, select 'Save As New Search' and fill out the required information.
  4. Once your search is saved, you can conveniently access it by following these steps:
    • Open the search box located in the top left-hand menu.
    • Select the saved search from the list, and it will load the desired results without repeating the initial steps.
