OVERVIEW

Application forms can be set up to identify Red Flag applications. If candidates answer Red Flag questions incorrectly, they will be placed in a holding status (e.g. 'New Application - Red Flag') after submitting the main application form and passing the duplicate check.

Your system may offer default Red Flag questions or you may be able to enter custom Red Flag questions when creating an opportunity.

STEPS TO REVIEW RED FLAG APPLICATIONS

  1. Load the Red Flag applications:
    • Go to your opportunity and open the 'Applications' tab.
    • Click on the total number for the Red Flag status (e.g. 'New Application - Red Flag').
    • Once the list loads, double-click on the first application in the list to open its Application Summary.
  2. Review their application form:
    • Go to the 'Forms' tab.
    • You will be presented with a list of all the forms attached to the application.
    • Click on their main application form, it will open in a new tab within the Application Summary page.
  3. Select to Progress or Reject:
    • To reject the application:
      • Click the red 'Reject' button.
      • You may need to complete a 'Reject Reason' form.
      • After rejection, an automated email will be sent to the candidate, which you can view in the 'History' tab after refreshing the page.
    • To progress the application:
      • If you still want to consider the application, select 'Progress.'
      • The application will move to a status available for screening (e.g. 'New Application').
  4. Move to the next application:
    • If you have multiple Red Flagged applications, use the double arrows on the left and right sides of the Application Summary page to navigate between them.

Use the 'Send Correspondence' tool if you need more info:
If you require clarification from the candidate to make a decision on whether to reject or progress their application, you can send them an ad-hoc email. Follow these steps:

  1. Click 'Communication' > 'Send Correspondence' on the Application Summary toolbar.
  2. Select the 'Blank' email template.
