OVERVIEW
Screening feedback is typically entered by the opportunity's hiring manager.
If you have Oleeo's Name Blind feature enabled, all personally identifiable information will be hidden from the hiring manager and replaced with the text "RESTRICTED DATA".
PROCESS FOR ENTERING SCREENING FEEDBACK AND A DECISION
- Load new applications:
- Method 1: Accessing applications from your dashboard:
- Your dashboard may include a widget that contains the applications waiting for you to screen.
- If you have multiple live opportunities, you can enter the title of an opportunity in the 'Filter Results' box to view one opportunity's applications.
- Double-click on an application to open their Application Summary.
- Method 2: Accessing from your opportunity:
- From the left-hand menu, navigate to 'Opportunities' > 'Search'.
- In the list of opportunities, double-click on the opportunity that you would like to screen.
- Within the opportunity, navigate to its 'Applications' tab.
- Click on the total number next to the screening status (On your system it might be called 'New Application', 'Application Received' or 'Shortlisting').
- In the list of applications, double-click on the first application in the list to open its Application Summary.
- Method 1: Accessing applications from your dashboard:
- Open the feedback form:
- Click the action button under the application's status, labeled 'Screening Feedback'.
- A tailored feedback form will open.
- Rate the competencies:
- If your opportunity included competency questions, the form will display the questions and the candidate's responses.
- Rate each competency.
- A 'Total Score' will be displayed towards the bottom of the form.
- Review the application form or CV:
- If your opportunity does not use competencies, you may be required to review the candidate's application form or CV.
- You can view their application form or CV (if they have provided one) alongside the feedback form.
- The 'Launch Another Form' and 'View CV Alongside' buttons appear at the top of the feedback form.
- Provide your decision:
- Choose a 'Decision' from the options:
- Select 'Progress' to move the application to the interview stage.
- Select 'Reject' if you do not want to put them forward for interview. The applications will move to the 'Screened - rejected' status and will receive an automated notification email.
- Select 'On Hold' if you wish to review the full list of applications before providing a decision. The application will move to the 'Screening - On Hold' status.
- Press 'Submit' to save the form and update the application's status.
- Choose a 'Decision' from the options:
- Move to the next application:
- Use the double arrows on the left
and right
sides of the Application Summary page to move between applications waiting to be screened. - Alternatively, you can go back to the list of applications by clicking the left-facing arrow
in the toolbar at the top-right of the page.

- Returning to On-Hold applications:
- Once you have reviewed all of the applications, you can return to the applications where you selected 'On Hold' and enter your decision:
- From the left-hand menu, navigate to 'Opportunities' > 'Search'.
- In the list of opportunities, double-click on the opportunity that you would like to screen.
- Within the opportunity, navigate to its 'Applications' tab.
- Click on the total number next to the 'Screening - On Hold' status.
- In the list of applications, double-click on an application in the list to open its Application Summary.
- Open the feedback form and update the decision to 'Progress' or 'Reject'.
- Once you have reviewed all of the applications, you can return to the applications where you selected 'On Hold' and enter your decision:
