OVERVIEW
Some user profiles only have access to opportunities where they are assigned as a Participant (sometimes labelled 'Panel Member').
There may be times when you wish to remove the access to some or all opportunities assigned to a specific user, without moving the opportunities to another user. This could be because the user has moved to another department.
STEPS TO REMOVE THE ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITIES FROM A USER
- Go to the user you wish to remove opportunities from:
- In the left-hand menu, go to the 'Users' > 'Manage Users' (sometimes labelled as 'Configure Users').
- Locate the user from whom you want to remove opportunity access from. You can use the 'Filter Results' tool for quicker search.
- Select the row corresponding to the user, then click 'Edit' in the List of Users Toolbar located in the top right-hand corner.
- Access 'Assigned Opportunities' tab:
- Within the user's account page, navigate to the 'Assigned Opportunities' tab.
- This tab displays all opportunities where the user is a 'Participant,' granting them access to these opportunities.
- Only opportunities created within the environment you are currently logged into will be listed. For instance, if you are logged into the 'Config' environment, you will only see opportunities created in the 'Config' environment.
- The first column indicates the profile to which the opportunity was assigned.
- The second column provides links to the opportunities for easy access.
- Select opportunities to remove:
- Choose the opportunities you wish to remove by selecting the corresponding rows in the list of opportunities assigned to this user.
- You can use the 'Filter Results' box to locate specific opportunities or filter based on the profile the opportunity is assigned to.
- You can select all opportunities in the list or on one page using the 'Selected' dropdown.
- Click 'Delete' button:
