Resetting user passwords

OVERVIEW

Users have the option to request automated password reset instructions directly from the login page using the 'Forgot your password?' link.

Alternatively, super users possess the ability to initiate password reset instructions. This functionality allows for individual or bulk resets of passwords.

STEPS TO RESET PASSWORDS

1. Login to the environment the user is accessing (i.e. Config or Live).
2. In the left-hand menu, go to Users > Manage Users (sometimes referred to as 'Configure Users').
3. Select the user(s) who need password reset instructions by single-clicking on their row. You can use the filter results box at the top of the list to quickly find users.
4. In the list of users toolbar, click Reset Password.
    

   

5. In the pop-up, confirm the action.
6. An email will be sent to the user(s), containing their username and a password reset link.
   • If initiated from the Config environment, the link directs the user to Config.
   • If initiated from the Live environment, the link directs the user to Live.
