At Oleeo, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all users, including those with disabilities. Our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate-facing website are designed and developed with accessibility in mind.
Regular Internal Testing
Our accessibility lead conducts bimonthly internal testing of our ATS and candidate side using multiple types of screen readers, including JAWS, NVDA, and Narrator. Additionally, we test with speech recognition software and various Windows accessibility features such as Magnifier and Reader Mode. Every front end developer has access to this. We use tools such as code linting and the axe tools page scanner to pick up issues during the development process. Our QC team also checks for issues such as keyboard accessibility and contrast failures as part of our regular 2 week release cycle.
Involvement in the Development Process
Accessibility is a key consideration at every stage of our development process. We incorporate accessibility in our UX interviews, design process, and the development and testing of new features.
Configurable and Accessible Job Sites
Both our ATS and candidate job sites are highly configurable. When creating a job site, clients can work with our configuration team to incorporate their own accessible branding, ensuring a seamless and inclusive experience for all candidates.
Compliance with Accessibility Standards
We strive to comply with the following accessibility standards:
- WCAG 2.2 at Level AA for both our ATS and candidate job sites. This includes ensuring that our content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
- The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 for our UK public sector clients, which are largely based on WCAG 2.1.
- EN 301 549: European standard for digital accessibility and European Accessibility Act (EAA) for our clients who do business in Europe, also largely based on WCAG 2.1.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement
We are constantly working to improve the accessibility of our products and services. We welcome feedback from users with disabilities and are committed to addressing any accessibility issues that may arise.
If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of our ATS or candidate-facing website, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are dedicated to providing a positive and accessible experience for all users.
