SkillsAssess is an AI tool for assessing written competency or behaviour based text in candidates' job applications. It highlights the most significant parts of an applicant's response, provides an estimated score reflecting their demonstration of required competencies, and tailors the assessment according to role seniority, distinguishing between expectations for graduates and senior leaders.

SkillsAssess currently only works with competency or behaviour based questions, such as Success Profiles.

Word Count Restrictions:

It can score only answers that are a maximum of 250 or 500 words long.

The tool cannot be used for scoring CVs or personal statements.

Validation Dataset Requirement:

SkillsAssess requires a validation dataset of ideally 20,000 to 30,000 applications with recruiter scores to calibrate its performance.

It cannot be self-configured; all configuration must be carried out by Oleeo.
