CONFIGURATION NOTES

The following are a list of config values relating to vacancy creation:

feature.enable.simple_vacancy_create

This should be enabled as best practice, as when disabled the interface that displays is no longer supported. Multi form vacancies & draft mode cannot work without it.

opportunity.create.open_in_dialogue

Should also be enabled as best practice. This makes the opportunity creation screen appear as a pop up rather than navigating away to a separate page.

opportunity.create.allow_opp_as_template

When enabled, this will display an option to the user when creating an opportunity, allowing them to create an opportunity from a template (default behaviour), or copy an existing opportunity.

opportunity.create_as_draft

Allows vacancies to be created without all mandatory fields being filled in. Users will have the option of creating the vacancy as draft.

feature.vacancy.restricted_create

When enabled, this key restricts users so that they cannot create vacancies without basing them off a template, furthermore, templates "lock in" the vacancy title (from the template edit screen) so it cannot be changed when a vacancy is created from that template.

You can grant users access to /VIRT/ats/recruiter/opportunities/can_edit_locked_fields if you want them to be able to edit these locked fields.

feature.vacancy.restricted_create.blank_title

Along with the above key, this one blanks the title of a vacancy created from a template rather than copy the template if that behaviour is preferred, but you'd still like to restrict users to only creating via templates.
