Accessibility improvements (#39292, #41071, #40975, #41273)
Various accessibility improvements to ensure our platform can be interacted with by all users.
- Ensuring that the keyboard focuses on the correct element when certain pages load, which improves usability for anyone using a screen reader.
- Ensuring that the previous and next buttons for datepickers work correctly for screen reader users.
- Improving clarity to the user when downloading large spreadsheets or PDFs (e.g. exporting config labels or downloading printbooks).
- Providing clearer guidance to screen reader users on how to access the help menu of the rich text editor.
FIXES
Downloaded process reports show IDs (#41371)
When downloading a config report for processes, the generated report now contains the ID of each status value.
Deactivated users displaying properly in forms (#41389)
Previously, when a user was deactivated, they would appear blank if referenced in some forms (e.g. a recruiter or hiring manager field within a form). With this change, the user is visible even if their account has been deactivated, which makes it easier to look at historic data.
These changes were released on 9th January 2025 in version 3.386
